I love the PolarGel Cool Pillow Mat! I have slept on it for a couple of nights now and it is amazing. I'm a frequent pillow turner attempting to always get the cooler side of the pillow but with this mat I don't have to continually keep turning my pillow. I suffer from tension headaches at times and I had the start of one yesterday. Normally if I lay down with an ice pack at the base of my neck I'll feel better in no time, but I decided to lay on the polargel mat instead and it had me headache free rather quickly. The mat comes with two non slip straps to hold the mat securely on your pillow. The mat covers the pillow nicely so your head isn't laying half on mat and half on pillow.
